This historical photo was taken in 1873 by American photographer Timothy H. O’Sullivan. It shows the San Miguel Chapel in Santa Fe, which was partially destroyed in the Pueblo Revolt. Built around 1610 by Tlaxcalan auxiliaries of conquistador Juan de Oñate, it is considered the oldest church in the United States. | Creator: Timothy H. O'Sullivan. | Source: O'Sullivan, Timothy H.
