McInnis Canyons National Conservation Area

While a majority of Kokopelli’s Trail was a project in unifying disused 4x4 roads and prospecting tracks, the Colorado Plateau Mountain Bike Trail Association built ten miles of singletrack trail through the rim country in 1989. While vehicle support is easily achievable across the 142 mile route, the preferred mode of travel for many is to bikepack wherein the rider self supports their journey by carrying all essentials on their bicycle. | Source:
