Percie Knowles first constructed this livestock barn at Chico Hot Springs during the 1910s. The next owner, Oneita Behnke, capitalized on this extension by adding a rodeo arena and converting the site into a tourism ranch in the 1940s. Behnke and her husband maintained sixty rodeo horses at the site during this time. | Source:
