Big Rock Candy Mountain UT-Utah, Lemonade Springs, Antique, Vintage Postcard

A 1958 postcard depicts the natural spring near Big Rock Candy Mountain. Locals labelled this nearby spring after the lyrics in McClintock’s original song, “Oh the buzzin’ of the bees, in the cigarette trees, near the soda water fountain, at the lemonade springs, where the bluebird sings, on the big rock candy mountain.” The Dieringer sold bottled mineral water from this spring at his gift shop, capitalizing on the novelty of its source. | Source:
