Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park extends Glacier National Park’s borders into Canada to form a single international peace park, while still retaining each park’s national autonomy. Goat Haunt, at the southern tip of Upper Waterton Lake, is on the American side, while the Prince of Wales Hotel is on the Canadian side. Hiking or horseback trails lead to Goat Haunt directly, but not any roads. The Waterton Park township, however, is easily accessible from Canada. | Source:
