Graduate student housing
While Iona’s status in the decade between 1949 and 1959 is not completely clear, by 1959 BYU evidently decided to use Iona as male graduate student housing instead of as female undergraduate housing. The “meals at Allen Hall” mentioned would have been at R. Eugene and Inez Knight Allen Hall, a men’s BYU dormitory down the road from Iona.
