The Endowment House was located on Temple Square before the Salt Lake Temple was built. It was built of adobe and was dedicated in 1855 for conducting temple ordinances that would otherwise only be done inside a Latter-day Saint temple. The Granite blocks in front of the building were used in the construction of the Salt Lake Temple.Download Original File
