What began as an open-air gathering place has become an architectural marvel in the heart of a major American city. It is also home to beautiful gardens and world class music. Over the years, several buildings have been demolished and new buildings constructed, allowing Temple Square to be adapted to the needs of the the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Salt Lake City community.
